MEANING OF OUR NAME:
A name is important because it denotes nature. Therefore, the name should reflect the identity and mission of what the church is about.
THE WORD SYNERGY MEANS "WORKING TOGETHER"
Synergy comes from the Greek word Syn-nergo, which means working together. It refers to two or more agents working together to obtain a result not obtainable by any of the agents independently.
It is a word the Apostle Paul used in his epistles, (Romans 8:28, I Corinthians 3:5-10),
"and we know all things work together for good to them that love God to them that are the called according to His purpose." In reference to the latter, Paul emphasises the importance of working together by stating,"I did the planting , Apollos the watering, but God made things grow". We are fellow workers, (Synergo), with God. You are God's Building.
The Synergy Church functions on a Kingdom Agenda, which is defined as the visible manifestation and application of the comprehensive rule of God over every area of life. He has authorized four distinct spheres or realms, through which His rule operates- they are, the individual, the family, the church, and society. As a community of faith, we teach the principles of the Kingdom in every dimension of life. Through the proper blending of God's word with good works, the goal of the church is to visibly model God's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
